Peacock Magazine: The Icon Issue
I was the Art Director for The Icon Issue of Peacock Magazine. It was my first time ever art directing anything and I didn't know what I was doing for most of it, but looking back now I can see bits and pieces of my creative voice as I know it now starting to form.
This project was also the first time I had ever used InDesign and Photoshop in a professional context, and pretty much everything I know today is because of the countless hyper-specific tutorials I watched trying to make the magazine look exactly the way I wanted it to.
Looking back on it now, there are definitely some things I’d do differently, but considering I was art directing an 88-page publication for the first time, going to university full time, and editing my senior film at the same time, I think it turned out pretty sweet!
